  • Seventh Grade Music Performance [video]

    The Seventh Grade Music Performance was held in the Janet Root Theatre on Thursday afternoon. The students shared songs from the Golden Age of Radio such as Ira and George Gershwin's Strike up the Band, Harold Arlen's It's Only a Paper Moon, Irving Berlin's Puttin' On the Ritz, and Louis Jordan's Is You Is, Or Is You Ain't Ma Baby. In celebration of the recent Eurovision Song Contest, students also performed a popular Eurovision winning song from 1967, Puppet On a String. Ending the performance was Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie's humanitarian pop hit, We Are the World.

  • A Day in the Life of Kindergarten

    Shorecrest Kindergarteners took audiences along with them on "A Day in the Life of Kindergarten," a musical and educational production. They performed about what they do, who some of their teachers are, and they sang throug the schedule of a whole school day!
