A Kindergarten Recital [Photos, Video]

by: Raffi Darrow, Ebytes Editor
On May 18, the Shorecrest Class of 2035 - also known as this year's kindergarten - presented songs and poems they learned throughout the school year in music class, Spanish class and more. They also used simple instruments to show they could follow the beat and instructions from their Director, Mr. Roberto. Learning rhythm also helps with early phonics skills such as syllables, sounds and sentence structure.

Some of the songs the Chargers performed were:
  • "The More We Get Together"
  • "Days of the Week" in English and Spanish
  • "Months of the Year"
  • "A You're Adorable"
  • "What a Miracle"
  • "Count on Me"
