Summer Reading & Supply Lists

Are you tired of searching for the perfect "3-prong, plastic folder with pockets?" The Shorecrest Community Association (SCA) can help! Let us shop for your child's school supplies this year. SCA offers school supply packages for students in K-8th grade. SCA volunteers will gather school supplies and have them ready and waiting in your child's classroom - saving you time and money.

The earlier you order, the more you save. Prices go up $10 on July 1 and August 1. Sales close on Friday, Aug 4!

NOTE: there are some supplies on each list SCA does not provide. Please read on and find the list for the grade your student will be entering.

Upper School Required Summer Reading list

Upper School Anatomy and Intro to Medical Science supplies needed: 3-ring binder, 24 colored pencils and a highlighter

Upper School World Language supplies needed: 
Upper School students taking Spanish are required to have a headset/headphones with recording capabilities to be used exclusively in class (these headphones will remain stored in the classroom). Students who took Spanish in Shorecrest Upper School last year and already have headphones that meet the below criteria will be able to take their current headset with them to the next class.

Headset/headphones must:
  • be compatible with whatever device you use (iPad or laptop)
  • have a microphone
  • have noise cancelation

If you DO NOT have an iPad/laptop with the usual 3.5 mm audio output, you will additionally need to purchase an adapter so that you can use any of the headset options above.
