by: Dr. Anna Baralt, Director of Technology and Media Services
It is exciting times around the Shorecrest Upper School Robotics lab! Team 6104A participated in the CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championship, an advanced engineering challenge, in Council Bluffs, Iowa from March 30-April 1. The team finished the competition in 3rd place.

Additionally, they had the opportunity to partner with a drone team from Hong Kong and two robotics teams from Nebraska and New York to compete in time and skill challenges. It was a great end to the season!

Team members Josef Broz ‘23, Julian Pollack ‘24, Kevin Tang ‘23 and Dylan Winer ‘23 put in more than 1000 hours on their robot over the course of this year's season. Check out their Engineering Design Notebook to learn more about their process.
