Varsity Track and Field at Shorecrest Invitational
by: Coach Cameron
The Varsity Chargers Track and Field team competed against 12 schools on March 2 at the Shorecrest Invitational. The girls finished 3rd overall, and the boys finished 9th.
"The Chargers performed very well against tough competition," Coach Cameron shared. "They kept their focus and finished up the meet moving from 4th to 2nd on the last lap of the 4x400. It was truly a team effort on both sides as we were able to overcome injuries of key athletes prior to the meet and still be competitive. The Chargers won and finished in the top 3 in many events."
