Visiting Scientist and Author, Dr. Carlee Jackson, Apr. 5
by: Dr. Lisa Bianco, Head of Lower School
Scientist and author, Dr. Carlee Jackson, will visit and share her work as a marine biologist and writer. She is a shark conservationist and marine turtle specialist in south Florida. On April 5, she will meet with first grade students and other invited classes in the Janet Root Theatre to discuss her new book about sharks. She will then work with first graders who are studying ecosystems of oceans.
Dr. Jackson suggested we partner with a local book store if students wanted an autographed copy of her book, "Sharks (A Day in the Life)," recommended for ages 5-8. Order your copy from Tombolo Books here. All orders need to be completed by March 23 to arrive on time to be autographed. Please type SHORECREST in the Comments/Instructions box of any orders.
