Basketball Weekly Update

MS Boys Green Basketball vs. Skycrest Christian: 30-43 Loss. 
It was a hard fought game. The chargers got to the Foul Line 24 times. They had a tough start in the first quarter but played some solid defense and connected on some fine assists for easy baskets. In the end there were too many unforced turnovers. Will F. '27 had 17 points in the Paint.

"There was great energy and effort from our team," shared Coach Folwell. 
                
Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Bayshore: 15-73 Loss.
It was an eye-opening first game for the Chargers. Now the ladies understand where they need to be as a team in order to compete on the varsity level.

Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Keswick Christian: 16-79 Loss.
   
MS Girls Basketball vs. Skycrest Christian: 6-46 Loss.
Sanya P. '29 and Alaya M. '29 scored their first points as Chargers Basketball players when the MS Girls team hit the road to take on Skycrest. Despite taking on a bigger and more experienced team, the Chargers didn't back down the entire game.  Stellar defense by Giselle S. '29, Sophia F. '27 and Emma S. '28 kept the Chargers in the game.

MS Girls Basketball vs. Westlake Christian: 3-31 Loss.
After a few days of practice the MS Girls Chargers Basketball squad took on Westlake Christian in the Crisp Gym. Emma S. '28 scored the first points of the season. Alaya M. '29 and Valeska T. '29 helped shut out Westlake in the 4th Quarter.

MS Green Boys Basketball vs. Indian Rocks: 25-45 Loss.
Ryan W. '27 had 14 points and ran the point with confidence.
