Varsity Girls Soccer vs. East Lake High School: 1-1 Tie.
In what may prove to be one of the toughest game this season, Coach Skyler and Coach Idinge couldn't be more proud of this group of girls! On the attack from the first whistle, the Chargers demonstrated that they would play their own game and let the results speak for themselves. After a dangerous attack against Addie Oman '24, Kaja Dionne '24 scored an early first half goal on a penalty kick. Heading into half-time leading by one goal, the conversation at half time was upbeat and positive focusing on small improvements, the strength of all players, and the crucial saves by Sonoma Kasica '24. Central midfield was working well as a unit, the defense was adapting to the long diagonal crosses, and the offense was penetrating their defense causing disruption and several scoring opportunities. The opponent scored early in the second half, but the Chargers maintained their composure and secured the defensive line.
