On Thursday of Homecoming Week, Upper School students have a full day of fun and games with each grade competing against the others. This "Class Competition Day" is a spirited event to create class unity, and a time-honored Shorecrest tradition that students look forward to all year.

Upper School classes will compete and be judged in the following events:
  • Hype Videos
  • Themed dress-up days
  • Class Banners hung in the rec gym
  • Brain Bowl trivia
  • Food Drive for The Kind Mouse
  • Flag Football
  • Slip and Slide Kickball
  • Cheerleading
  • Volleyball
Fun Fact: The Class of 2024 girls have won the football competition two years in a row, since they were in ninth grade. They hope to be the second team to win this competition 4 years in a row (last time this happened was the class of 2014).

The colors assigned to be worn by each class are intentionally NOT Shorecrest colors. Green and gold are saved for Friday of Homecoming Week to demonstrate everyone's Chargers Pride. Friday, October 21 will be an all-school spirit day! Don your green and gold!
