ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REMINDERS FOR UPPER SCHOOL FAMILIES AND STUDENTS
by: Don Paige, Head of Upper School
AP Examination Schedule for this year Last week the College Board released brand new information about how they are scheduling AP Exams this year. They have been promising to have in person, paper and pencil exams during their normal May exam slots (May 3 - May 17th.) They have decided to keep that exam window, but they have added two extra windows for students who would like to take their exams at home digitally. The at home digital tests will be different in content, but will also have security restrictions. Students taking the exam at home will not be allowed to go back to previous questions, skip around within the exam, and might need to have a second device filming them during the exam. Please note that the rules and regulations of these exams are set by the College Board, and Shorecrest cannot alter them.
Shorecrest is going to maintain the already scheduled AP exam dates and administer them on campus between the weeks of May 3rd and May 17th. If a student has a special circumstance where they would like to take the at home exam during one of the later blocks, the student needs to reach out to Dean Sessions who handles our AP Exam ordering and scheduling.
