Service After School program for grades 9-12

Starting on Wednesday, January 20, Mr. Duran-Medina, Shorecrest's Director of Service Learning, will be leading a service program called SAS (Service after School) for Upper School students who want to earn service hours.

Students will be writing letters to residents at Westminster Palms, a senior residential facility in downtown St. Pete, and students can earn service hours for every three letters written. Materials will be provided by the school for letter writing. The program will be held in ST6 every Wednesday from 4-5pm through the spring semester. Chargers may also come by to have any service questions answered.

Participants must follow all school-day health and safety guidelines (mask wearing, social distancing, etc.) Please reach out to Mr. Duran-Medina with any questions at
