Virtual Book Club: The Heretic's Daughter, Dec. 10

by: Stacy Alexander, Director of Alumni and Community Engagement
The Shorecrest community is invited to the Alumni Association's second Virtual Book Club with Upper School faculty member, Ron Heller. The meeting will be virtual on Thursday, December 10 at 7pm. There is no cost to participate – you just have to read the book to enjoy.

Our second book selection is "The Heretic's Daughter" by Kathleen Kent. About the Book: Martha Carrier was one of the first women to be accused, tried and hanged as a witch in Salem, Massachusetts. Like her mother, young Sarah Carrier is bright and willful, openly challenging the small, brutal world in which they live.
