Spanish Club Collecting Used Textbooks

by: US Spanish Club
If you have gently used* textbooks you won’t need anymore, please consider donating them to the Spanish Club in the Upper School. They can be on any subject, in any language or for any grade level (high school, college, etc.- they don’t need to be in Spanish.)

The US Spanish Club sponsors a childrens village in Los Mina, Dominican Republic. They chose this particular village because it was one of the top 3 in financial need in Latin America. The club earns money selling used textbooks in an Amazon store to raise funds for the children at Los Mina.

They will be collecting textbooks until May 27. You can drop them at Landy in room 3 or club members can pick them up anywhere in the school. They will even drive to your home and pick them up if that is more convenient. For more details, contact the club advisor and US Spanish Teacher, Marina Pallares at mpallares@shorecrest.org.

Thank you!
