Summer Library Book Checkout Available

Summer book checkout will be available for MS/US in the library. 

Who can participate in this program?
Summer checkout is available to rising fifth grade - twelfth grade students, along with current Shorecrest faculty / staff.

How do I check out books for the summer?
You may check out books for the summer before school ends or at any point during the summer. Summer hours are typically Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm.
 
Books can be checked out through one of the following faculty/staff: Dr. Baralt, Mrs. Hathcoat, Mrs. Johnson, and Mrs. McLemore. These people have offices in the MS/US Library building and are happy to assist you!

What happens if I can’t find someone to help me check out over the summer?
There will be a paper checkout clipboard across from the main reception desk in the MS/US Library building. There will be signage to help you find this self checkout station.

How many books can I check out?
You may check out up to 10 books at a time.

When are the books due?
Books may be returned at any point during the summer. There will be a return box at the main reception desk in the MS/US Library building. For inventory purposes, all library books must be returned by Friday, August 16.

What happens if I lose my summer check out books?
If you lose a book, you will be charged for the replacement cost on your school bill.

When is the MS/US Library open during the summer?
Summer hours are typically Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm.

Is the LS Library open too?
Sorry, the LS Library in Charger Commons is closed during the summer.
