I had no idea what I was doing, but it didn't take long for this maker to fall in love with the puppetry world. I was determined to find ways to incorporate this new medium into The Experiential School.
ABBA's timeless hit songs tell the story of a young woman's search for her birth father on the eve of her wedding. Three men from her mother's past return to the sunny Greek island they last visited 20 years ago. This enchanting and funny tale of love, laughter and friendship is a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!
Best for audiences age 13+. Ticket information will be shared in the spring.
Our students are natural poets. To celebrate their poetic voice and Poetry Month we will be gathering for an informal poetry jam called Poetry in the Park. It will be the Lower School's culminating event for Celebrate the Arts week.
K-4 grade students will take turns sharing a class or grade level poem. The audience will be on the grass facing south (facing Charger Commons) and when on stage the students will face north.
When not on stage, students will sit with their classes on the Gaffney Green. Adult audience members may bring a towel, blanket or low beach chair to sit on, behind all of the LS classes. The front half of the lawn will be for the adult blankets and the back half will be for those wanting to sit in low beach chairs. This area is not shaded. Please do not bring beach umbrellas since they will block the view.
*Note: There is no rain date for this event. If it rains we will film each class indoors and share a video.
