After riding along when his father test drove a Tesla, Graham Heckert was hooked on electric cars. As he began to see the connections between the emerging technology and the concepts he was learning in his high school science classes, he realized he could do more than drive one himself someday.

The current social climate has stirred feelings and stories from our community members that indicate our imperfect past as an institution. We are committed to examining our past and present as we work toward a more inclusive future. We seek to provide an environment that embraces and celebrates differences and feels like home to all.
We mourn the senseless deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and so many other innocent men and women of color. We recognize that these events have a deeply personal impact on our African-American community members. We acknowledge your pain and stand in solidarity with you.
