We are grateful that we have remained open safely and have largely kept COVID-19 off of our campus. We aspire to continue that pattern; and each community member has a role to play in making that possible.

Stay Home if you have Symptoms
Please be mindful of symptoms and keep students at home if they exhibit the following:
fever, new onset cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, muscle aches, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, new or unusual headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, congestion or runny nose. While COVID-19 does not cause illness in every individual who becomes infected, it is highly contagious.
Mandatory Flexible Learning
If there is a connected cluster of positive cases on campus, we reserve the right to place students on the Flexible Learning Program even if they are not close contacts. We believe that by acting out of an abundance of caution, we will serve the best interest of the School and limit the potential spread of COVID-19 throughout our community. This information will be added to our school’s Health and Safety policies this week.
Flexible Learning after BreakIf you know you'd like to enroll your child in Flexible Learning after Spring Break, please let your School Head know as soon as possible. Advanced notice will help facilitate a seamless transition from on-campus to virtual learning. It may be best for all families to
ask students to bring home all of their learning materials over Break. If your family may have been exposed to COVID during break or were unable to remain socially distant from others, please call / email a school office on Monday, March 15, and do not return to campus.
Community Information Dashboard Shorecrest maintains a Community Information Dashboard in PowerSchool that includes COVID cases, Flexible Learning enrollment, and numbers of students in quarantine. The overall COVID stats in the overview slide are
updated in real time as cases arise. The graphs of Flexible Learning enrollment, quarantine numbers, and COVID cases by division are updated weekly when school is in session.
We look forward to seeing students and teachers, both on campus and online, on Monday, March 15!
